I am a multiple award-winning film critic, festival programmer, screenwriter and poet based in Australia. I am also on the Board of the Australian Film Critics Association (AFCA) and the Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival.
You can read my award-winning reviews of Neeraj Ghaywan's 'Homebound' and Payal Kapadia's 'All We Imagine as Light', along with other selected writing that's been published here. As someone from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background and a lived experience of disability, I am passionate about exploring how critical discourse can help bring more marginalised voices into focus.
I was the resident film critic at 2SER 107.3 FM, co-hosting a weekly radio-based film program, broadcast every Wednesday evening 7.30 pm between 2017–2022. You can listen to the entire back catalogue of episodes that went to air here. Recently, I served on the FIPRESCI jury at the 2025 Kolkata International Film Festival, judging the International Competition selection.
